Tourist Information offices:
To book a hotel or get information about transports, museums, excursions etc:

Monday – Friday:  8 am – 6 pm

Or you can visit one of the offices in the city.
The main office is opposite Central Station and is open daily from 9 am until 7 pm.
Another office is located inside the station, on platform 2b.
Opening hours: Monday to Thursday and Saturday, from 8 am until 8 pm; Friday: 8 am until 9 pm and from 9 am until 5 pm on Sunday.

There is also an office at the airport:

Holland Tourist Information,
Arrivals 2, at Schiphol Plaza.
Monday – Sunday:  7 am – 10 pm.

You can pick up an I Amsterdam Card at any of the tourist information offices. It offers unlimited travel on public transport, a free canal cruise and discounts at museums. Cost:  around 35 euros for one day (around 55 euros for 3)
